Anna Santamaria Segura and Jennifer Manjón work at Hospital Clinic Barcelona in Spain. They both have degrees in Nursing except that Jennifer Manjon has an additional Masters in Neonatal and Paediatrics Intensive care. They arrived at Asafo on the 30th April, 2019 and departed on the 14th June, 2019 to Mole National Park in the Northern Region of Ghana for tourism activities. This was their first time in Ghana, however their second time on the continent of Africa. They expressed the joy of being in Ghana, the first time they experienced a group of people with so many cultural and religious backgrounds but lived harmoniously and happily together. They thought Ghanaians are more friendly and fun to be with especially when compared with other countries. In an answer to how different Asafo hospital is from their hospital in Spain, they said almost everything is different; their building structure, the equipment they use, the procedures they do, the caliber/types and number of professionals and even the level of supervision. They added that everything at their place is done electronically with no paper work, just as Asafo is doing E-Folder at the OPD. In collaboration with the hospital management a training program on how to use baby incubator was organized for midwives and other staff for which Jennifer and Anna were the trainers. An appreciation and a good-bye party was organized for them before they left on the 14th June, 2019 for Mole National Park in the Northern Region of the country. They expressed gratitude to the Superior/Director Br. Johannes and all the Brothers as well as the general staff for the nice reception accorded them.
