The National Catholic Health Service (NCHS) has distributed Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs) donated by the Past Students of Holy Child School to four of its facilities.
St. Gregory Hospital Buduburam, Richard Novati Hospital, Sogakope, Notre Dame Clinic Nsawam and St. Pauline Clinic, received the various items at a short ceremony at the National Catholic Secretariat, Accra.

Very Rev. Fr. Lazarus Anondee, Secretary General of the National Catholic Secretariat, handed over the items to the facilities. He lauded the heroic efforts of all health staff in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic and encouraged them not to relent in their effort whilst they protect themselves in the line of duty.
Present at the ceremony were the Director of the NCHS, George A. Adjei Esq and other staff at the Secretariat.
The National Union of Holy Child Past Students Association (NUHOPSA), recently donated protective items worth GHc60, 000 to the Ghana Catholic Bishops’ Conference (GCBC) to support its health facilities across the country in the fight against COVID-19.
The items presented to the GCBC included 120 gallons of 5L liquid soap, 280 pieces of 250mL alcohol-based gel hand sanitizers, 300 pieces of 500mL alcohol-based gel hand sanitizers, 360 pieces of 750mL WHO alcohol hand rub, 680 pieces of surgical nose masks, 520 pieces of N95 nose masks, 10,500 pairs of gloves, 160 disposable gowns, 25 Veronica buckets and 75 pieces of jumbo-size paper towels.
